disappearing graphics

Hello, I might as well as yet another question that I cant find an answer to hopefully eventually someone will actually respond to one so I can figure out whats wrong.

Anyhow this is the current problem. I have my target window. It has a custom border around the guages (like most of the custom UI's) Now once in a while (1of 3 times??) I will be playign and all of a sudden the graphic will disappear and I wont get it back until I restart the game or reboot my machine. The guages are still there, but the custom graphcis jst seem to 'drop' out . Any clues at to what may be causing this? It doesnt only happen in my custom work but the occasional other custom UI I try as well.

uh.. my guess would be its a bug that you have no control over. I've never seen it happen. I would try the usual full scan and video drivers.
