Default Newbie questions

I've just uploaded my first batch of POI's, but there were some additional ones I wanted to add, but thew zones don't appear in the list.
Specifically these were lavastorm and Everfrost. These have SOE maps as they are outside zones so why can I not add a POI?
Also is there any chance we can upload POIs for maps that don't yet exist - so that explorers can log this data in readiness for when some creative soul makes a map?

The system is such that POI position on the map can't be calculated without first knowing the scale ratio of the map to the zone's actual size. Each map uses a different scale.

Untill somone goes to the zone and figures out the "ZoneRect", the map can't be added to EQ2MAP.

There's a guide for helping make maps for the site. If you're interested check it out
