1.0 Updater Hangs

First, let me start out by saying this is the best EQ2 mod ever! It has made my questing life a TON easier.

That being said I am having issues with the 1.0 version that I just installed. It will scan and then start the downloading of updates. It always pauses at 127K transferred (99% of the first file) and then hangs there. I know that the internet connection still exists as I am able to browse pages (looking for a solution to this ) Eventually the message below is generated after about a 5 minute pause:

The computer is XP Pro with SP2 and all of the latest updates. Will go and get the .Net 2.0 beta now and post if that solves the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
