ok when i installed profitui it says its not compatible with the quest journal. i cant even tell what to do in my quest is there something i can do to get the quests to atleast show in the top left hand corner?

Sounds like you downloaded an old version. Download a new version: that'll be by the big red Download button, not one of the archive links.
