Skinning

Hey I know this is just some newb question, but how the heck do I skin. I mean I just started doing the UI thing, so I'm junior at that, and I'm currently making a Complete Set, but I want to have differant skins, I was wondering how to skin, do I need a program or something????
I looked at Incubi Silver- by ZoLeN, and loved it. I could do a remake if someone told me how to skin, would appreciate it!

Trying to make a Complete Set that can be gold,silver,or purple, or something like that. That is why i want to know

Just change the image files. There's a tutorial around here somewhere.

get the DDS plugin for photoshop or paint shop pro. the images are DDS files. They have alpha layers which depict the opacity of the image. you put an images folder in your mod folder and the game looks there before it looks for its own images. replacing them in their original location will cause them to be overwritten by the patcher.
