The Raid Window was updated to resolve that issue.

Here's my first stab at the Vertical Groupmembers window.
This one starts at the top and fills downward.
I'll be bringing the bottom to top and right to left versions out shortly.

Can everyone be thinking of what other window variation options you may like?

Feel free to post those suggestions here...

I've opened a thread to post the beta groupmember window with variable fill options (Left to Right, Top to Bottom, Right to Left, and Bottom to Top)

I've also included a poll/vote option to decide if users want the numerical readouts for health & power.

Be sure to vote if you have a preference

I'm leaning more towards removing numerical values...

Im for top to bottom and no numerical values, healers may want the numerical data though Id imagine most use the health bars as indication.

Yo Faetyl, you're doing a tremendous job with this UI!!

Not quite sure if it can be done {but then again, I didn't think Goldi's EQ2/Start button mod (with all the extra buttons on it) could be done, either)....

Is it possible to add a button to the bank window that would allow you to open all the bags/containers a person may have in it (the shared slots could be included, or they could have their own button....either way works for me)?

I don't believe so, although you've sparked my interest/curiosity again so i'll do some more research on this subject.

Edit: This is not currently possible but I have a good "feeling" this is on it's way if viewers of the above post have submitted feedback.

I can however add a button to atleast open all of the bags that are on your character though and have been thinking about adding it to the bank and inventory windows.
Would you like that until the open all bank slots is an option?

Honestly, Faetyl....I (personally) wouldn't use the button very much, as I have that same command mapped to a key. Not sure about others that use this UI. But hey, this is your brainchild...you can add it if you want

Hello - I installed ThorUI and Ive never used one before but It seems to be really great. eyes still crossed over UI instructions (but I did it) - I only have 1 question not sure if its me or the system?

I cant seem to buy or sell anything in the game., All of the merchants are saying "You are too busy to do a merchant transaction at this time." I was able to bank after a sec - but my bags are getting full - checked the (Hotfixes) and I didn't know if one of them applied.

If someone could instruct me what to do in 2nd grade computerese Id hopefully be able to fix it -well maybe.

Sorry had to write back - Went back in to see if I could figure out why I was showing so busy - Couldn't figure out why except too many cookies - Me eating them I mean. Sooo happened to notice an extra line over in the border to the left side of screen. Welp sure enought it was the merchant buy sell screen. So I just managed to grab ahold of it and pull it out. Boy do I feel dumb. he he. Reminds me of my dog Siberian Husky - He sticks his head ( Well part of his head anyway) Under the edge of the couch and thinks you cant see him. Poof he's invisible.- Again sorry if I worried you. Tinkerbell error.

I really think I like this UI. Thank You Must have taken a lot of hard work and dedication.

I'm posting beta version 4.7.1 in the beta section now.
This is an update to the 4.7.0 beta as Sony has applied LU13 to the test servers.
The "beta" is a fully working install that should actually be better than 4.6 in my oppinion. Just be sure to uninstall any earlier versions.
Also note: My installer used to NOT overwrite existing XML for fear of overwriting anything a user may have added as an additional mod.
I have since changed the installer to overwrite all files except the "notes1-4" so be sure to backup any 3rd party mods you may wish to use with the ThorUI.

i love the UI it works great...except the time icon...its in the upperleft corner and i cant move it...and its right in the area of my target boxes...plz help me to move the times box...thnx

Replied to your other post already but i'll reply here as well "just in case"

Just right click the clock an area that's not on the dial or on text (any empty black area on the clock window) choose window settings and unlock.
You should now be able to move to your hearts content.

Let me know if it doesn't work and we can hook up on MSN or Yahoo messenger to work through it if you have time.

Please be aware of the following if using my uisettings.ini for window settings:
If you use my uisettings.ini file (See Attachement) the following files are hidden until mouse over for ease of use: Map (Middle/Right of screen), Track (Extreeme/Right of screen), Quest Journal Helper (Top/Right of screen), Quest Journal (Middle/Left of screen), Skills (Extreeme/Left of screen) If you're missing a window, just move your mouse around a bit.

^ So place it in and rename it EQ2.ini? For your settings to work?

No don't touch eq2.ini the installer takes care of that for you.

To use my window placement file you will need to locate your servername_charactername_eq2_uisettings.ini file
For example: I play on the Unrest server and my characters name is Faetyl I would find the following file "unrest_faetyl_eq2_uisettings.ini"
I would then back it up by renaming to "backup_unrest_faetyl_eq2_uisettings.ini"

I would then check to see what resolution I play at by checking the in game options within preferences.
This tells "me" i play at 1280x1024 therefore I would locate the file in my "EverQuest II" directory called "ThorUI_1280x1024_eq2_uisettings.ini"
I would copy and rename this file to "unrest_faetyl_eq2_uisettings.ini"

That's it.
Login and your using all my window placments for that character.
Repeat for any other characters your wish.
If your somewhat technical you can use the UISwitcher to copy the "ThorUI_1280x1024_eq2_uisettings.ini" to all your characters at once.

For those of you who hate my installer but like something in the UI...
Here's the same files that I used to make the current release in zipped format with no installer and minus the UISwitcher to save space.

Some xml files that are included here are not available with the installer as they are "a work in progress". (Use these at your own risk.)

I installed your UI yesterday and I really enjoy using this one. You've done some awesome work with the quest journal (heritage, writs ect.).

Theres one little thing that I noticed though, before this one I didnt use the black "movie screen"-like edge, which Im using now with your UI. My problem is though, that before I installed the UI my background screen (so ingame environmental objects like walls en trees in the distance) were clear, since I installed the UI it has become blurry.
Im not sure if its caused by the "movie-screen"-edge because it squeezes the screen and could distort certain graphics.
I always ran the game at high performance so I clicked that, with no change. I tried several other graphical options, but with no succes yet.

If anyone could help me with this, your help will be much appreciated.

Again, awesome UI and keep up the work

Still trying to make up my mind if i like this mod at th moment, been using Feinx one with the arcane style bars (which i really do like) but since he seems to have vanished and possible not updating anymore i need to find a new one.

id did try 4.6 but went back to arcane going to give 4.7 a try.

My only gripe so far is your messing with UIswitcher, cause i've used the install package it overwrites the UIswitcher i've already installed myself from a seperate download this then resets its settings. Then when i uninstall ThorUI it gets rid of UIswitcher, finding that very annoying tbh, should have an option on install if you want ui switching installed, and on uninstall have option to leave ui switcher installed.

Very good point, I'll make that change for next release and sorry for the trouble.

Posted this to another thread but this seemed a more appropriate place, so apologies for the repeat.

I've tried ThorUI for my healer (32 Mystic) and like it a lot. The only thing I'd suggest to really improve it would be to move the Exp bar and Startbutton from upper right down to the bottom right and place the maintained spells window up top as well. This is particularly helpful for healers because Wards , Regens, etc. are on timers and can also be 'used up' early. By having it up top we can see when these have expired without having to shift focus from the health bars down to the bottom of the screen. Just a thought

Wow, VERY good point indeed!

Servers are still down currently but I can't wait to get in so I can see about implementing this!

I may need to do some resizing on some windows to make them fit but I'm in the process of a full revamp anyways.

Until then, you can unlock and move them manually.

milquetowst is the brains behind the Quest Journal and should have full credit.
All I did was include it here with a few minor changes.

As for the graphic distortion.
Have you tried setting your in game options back to default?
Also, could you attach a screenshot of the issue.
I'm interested in traking this down.
To my knowledge UI's shouldn't cause a blurriness to occur.

Haven't read the whole thread but I did recently download the UI. First, I must say your doing a great job and love it. One thing I have noticed when installing your program that when I look in the mirror I see a bunch of distorted colors. I can always see it when I get close to the mirror. It appears for me in the bottom right corner. If it's something on my end plz let me know, thanks.

Mirac also mentioned a graphic distortion just a couple post up.
Could you both attach sceenshots so I can see this?
I just logged in and took a couple screenys at full graphics with and without night vision near a mirror and didn't notice anything.
Does it appear without my UI?
Have you tried resetting to defaults on in game display settings?
If you use either of the first three circle buttons on the starmenu you without first setting up your own settings, you will load mine which may not be compatible with your graphics adapter. I'm grasping at straws now.
