Yeah, I feel your pain. I've been trying to learn the XML code so that as I find a problem with the UI, I can fix it and then post the fixed XML file here for others to download.

I like the look and feel of this UI myself and would hate to see it fall by the wayside.

I'm sorry for the lack of support and updates lately guys

eXtreme isn't dead by no means, I just have a lot going on ATM. New house and all the oh frack I forgot to have this done stuff that comes with it. I've gone through 3 routers and now my modem is out and should be in with in a week. ( hate ordering crap off ebay but when you move where there isn't cable or DSL and have to use old technology what can u do lol).

For now you guys start making a list and post them here of what needs addressing and things you want to see added. This way I can keep a track of things with out having to search though other older post.

I'm also working on a project for a universal UI updater that can be used for files hosted at this site. Yes it's based on our current AUCP but on crack:P I know this doesn't help you out in the issues you have with the UI but just thought I'd toss it in for another reason for delays. Yea I know excuses, excuses ... lol

I love this UI , but atm I can only have a portion of it. Monitor limits me to 1280X1024 res. So when I load the UI in that res. stuff doesnt fit. I am copying the ini files for the correct res. and saving the corect res under settings in the AUCP. I guess what I'm asking is , is there a way to scale the UI size like in WoW , or is the something I am missing that will set the UI up like your screen's but in 1280X1024?

hey folks, ive just installed this ui for the first time. used the installer like your supposed to, and it asked me to change my default UI to be Extreme, it directed me to a settings page. but i see no option for default ui.. where is this please.... itried to launch eq2, and its moved all my windows around, but still using the old ui, not extreme.

Go back into settings under client settings and click the default button I believe its called then click save. If save remains grayed out, change one of the Trues to false and back to true then click save

I've just noticed some of the buttons in the top left control box don't actually work (the stop drink and eat come to mind). Is this something left over from older code? Oh btw if you download milquest it opens with the info button already there.

Yes the stop drink/eat show hood is old code and has to be redone with the changes to EQ2. Yup the info button opens the infocenter

Made sure I fixed that when I took the infocenter out as a default mod.

I am trying to ocompletely remove the UI from my comp. to reinstall. I have ran the uninstaller from Start-> Programs and have removed all of the files that I can identify from my directory. I am obviously missing a few. Almost the entire UI is gone except for the 2 black background hashes up top of screen and the bottom. The Launchpad still downloads the .zip file during updating and the UIBuilder file from the directory will not stay away after being deleted! Thanks alot in advance, I love the UI, want to install it correctly this time!

Make sure the eXtreme directory is gone from the ui/ directory. Delete eq2.ini and your char settings.ini file from the everquest2 directory. The uninstaller will not remove these two files as they can hold user settings.

What .zip file is the launchpad downloading? If you are talking about uibuilder.zip it will alwasy download that if it's missing or out of date, it is part of the everquest 2 distribution. If the launchpad downloads it, then it is from SOE not me.

could you plz remove this last updated feature.. it seems that the pull menue for showhelm/showhood etc has focus mostly the time I use my cursor keys for char movement.. so if I press up or down key to move my char forward and backward the menue is scrolling up and down .. only thing I can do to get my cursor key work is to press the right mouse button at the same time.. and btw.. it seems it wont work with the german client.. I can select what I want.. my char isnt changing from showhelm to showhood etc.. if I type the slash commands it works..

Oh, OK, will look at that.. For now click in the chat input box of some other object should remove the focus from the drop down. ( I think) I'll look at that this weekend.

If you read the FAQ, it will tell you a lot of the questiongs you have about eXtreme. Ultimately the eXtreme's FAQ will tell you to download and install the infocenter.

Sorry Aeromier totally missed this post. I don't think I've ever used or tied the .png formant with this UI. Things here at work and home are coming out of the flat spin I've seemed to of been in. So maybe (and I know I've said this before) can get back to the UI.

Starting today, my hotbars will no longer stay on top of other windows when I click the other windows. I always have 2 hotbars on top of the window containing my hp and mana bars, maintained spells, and EQ2 menu button, but now, when I click on that window, my 2 hotbars that were on top of it disappear under it. Please fix the hotbars so that they once again stay on top of other windows. Thanks a lot.

Oh crap, forgot to put that in when I fexed the dead space.. Fixing now..

I just patched again and the hotbars still won't stay on top. Also, another problem I forgot to mention earlier is that it's extremely difficult to get the hotbar right-click context menu to come up. I have to position my mouse just perfectly on the edge of the hotbar and right-click to get it. There no longer exists the little box at the top-right hand corner that you can right-click to get it.

Yes I just repatched as well and the hotbars are still not staying on top. Its also extremely hard to move them around since that little gray box is no longer in the corner.

I have more than one questions

1. My Main Spellbar is also not on top
2. Since EoF all Spellbars and the active quest window are draw with standard layout (not with gray background and border) is this 'normal'?
3. Where is the time window (day/night)?
4. My compass is not correct (if I stay to the north the compass says west, I think... but definitly not to the north, an extrem difference and on all maps)
5. If I make a timequest, then I can't see my time on the active quest window... only: time remain stands on it
6. On the broker window I can't see the street (or only a part) from sellers

I think thats all difficults that I have.

BTW: I'm using the 1280x1024 resolution and the german version. Also I tested reinstall the UI but allways the same problems...

1. Added to list
2. spellbars are made that way because some people move them into the play screen. For the active quest window you prob have the opacity set to 0 or frame and title bars turned off.
3. The time is on your inventory page. (made to be at all times)
4. Added to list; I'll get to this some day.

But I found two more *g*

1. The small icons from the adventureclass on the group members are not correct.
2. The oneclick cure buttons are not working... (please fix it... for healers very important *g*)

Since hotbar update, the hotbars are now completely broken. Cannot get up options, cannot delete icons, or make any changes.

Something else, read the update notes in the patcher I may of missed something here :P
