Can't move compass any more?
I've been having a weird problem since I changed my game resolution. All of a sudden I couldn't move the compass window. It's not locked. I used the "Default location" button, and it moved it to somewhere near the lower-left of center on my screen, but I still can't click and drag it anywhere. I can resize it, just can't move it. It's in a really annoying spot on the screen, so I've had it toggled off, but I'd really like it back.  Any idea?
I suppose I should mention that I have installed the "hotfix" since LU13, and everything seemed to be working perfectly until I changed my screen resolution. (Mind you, I hadn't tried moving the compass for quite a while, because I had it right where I liked it)

The issue is indeed with my compass (I plan to resolve with my next update as there is a workaround)
right click and choose window settings and it's either frames or no frames but one of those will allow you to move it again.
Again, my fault and I will have an update to it as soon as I am able to get back to modding

Character Names?
Hi,
I've been scanning through the thread, so forgive me if this has already been asked, but I didn't see it in here.
The Character box and Group Character boxes don't show the name of the character. You have to mouse over to see who is who.
Is this by design? Or is there something I need to change?

DoF patch resolves this.
First post has steps to take for resolution, one of which is to visit the hotfix section.

ThorUI Classic?
I unchecked the new Inventory box(if you remember my earlier post) because I didn't like not being able to see my character and other stuff. The problem now is that I have that gaudy, huge Inventory screen that Default uses(did their UI guys have a good summer vacation before starting high school?). Is there any way that I can revert some of my windows such as the Inventory and Tradeskill windows back to the way ThorUI had them before the update?
Have to bash on the new Tradeskill window too lol, too small and doesn't show my HP/Power and what counters I'm using. Just seems to me your new upgrades take away so much information in exchange for more screen size. In some aspects that's definitely a nice thing but when I'm crafting or just checking my Inventory the need to be able to see as much of my surroundings as possible is usually low priority, I'd much rather see as much info as I can pertaining to these two scenarios.

Understood, i'll be adding other selections when I can get back to modding.
The earlier tradeskill and inventory were Fetish so you could theoretically see about using his.

Hello, using your UI now for a week or so and like it immensely except I am having one nagging issue with the Target window that I have not seen anyone else address so thought I would mention it in case I am doing something wrong.
My problem is that the Target window truncates any NPC name longer than about 9 spaces long. Is there any optional target window version that allows a longer target name for your UI? Example : A Shrouded Boneslayer will appear in Tareget window as A Shrouded. I like to watch my target window exclusively during combat to monitor progress against the target and the need to move my vision focal point is disruptive for me personally. If you have no alternate modified window, is your mod able to take a desirable window from "Fetish " without crashing your mod? Thanks.

Text not displaying correctly
Hi all,
after trying to find out whats is wrong for a few days , I decided to post here.
I installed latest ThorUI and I installed patch.
My problem is, that I can not read the popups if I move my mouse over the hotbar icons. It is somehow corrupted/missing. The same for the effect window.
Can anyone help me to fix that little problem ? I really would appreciate it.

One of my all time favorite features I bragged to friends about to help pull them all to Thor UI was that awesome FIND button on our personal store, which appears to be missing now. Took away sooo much wasted time trying to compare items for your store and put it back into playing. Will this feature be reinstituted?? I, too, was so heartbroken to see it gone after this patch up.
As always, you have an awesome UI and I beleive I have converted my entore guild to it  . Thanx for everything!

Sony changed their default search to automatically use your characters class and level range so will need to see what I can do about that but the search is still there.

I tried to stay with the original sizing as the default sony target window with my initial release.
I'm swamped right now working on the ThorUI Auto Updater and other items but will certainly plan on adding that feature as I do agree that is annoying to not see the full name.
Please send all recommendations to [email protected] as I will review those submitted for future mods.
As for fetish items. yes you can add pieces.
My mod doesn't modify the eq2ui.xml or the mainhud.xml so you can add any mod to mine very easily.

Love the UI but...
Please tell how can i get the old inventory back? Have it as far as the same look but has a white square where the paperdoll was and no stats?

Hi,ive been looking for a post a saw awhile back has to do with the personal
window it was a window that showed skills it was hidden but Faetyl got it so you can see it,sorry cant remember much from what i recall you opened your personal window and clicked somewhere and a new window poped up

Sony updated if with alot more info then disabled its use entirely. 
All we can do is wait and see if they add access back. (Or we could send in game feedback asking for it's return)
If we do in game feedbacks you would be asking them to return access to "eq2ui_mainhud_character.xml"

crafting and bank windows
Love your UI.....
That said, I am having 2 problems since the 13 update.
1) The tradeskill/crafting window no longer shows the buffs I am casting. When you hit "recipe" at the end of a combine, it no longer remembers what you looked at last. I have to sort each time I go to start a new combine.
2) The Guild window does not have the tab for Banking.
Are there any work arounds for these?

Hmm, I think I'm lost. And by now you are sick of me. The fact you even still answer us while trying to get your updater prepared is testament to you (and why maybe you shuold run the gaming undustry!!  ).
As for my dilemma, I didn't mean the search options on the side in the market window, but rather the tab that I had only ever seen in your mod--right when you open personal store, near the "set price" button was a "find" button, allowing you to search the market for whatever specific item you had highlighted right on your store page from inventory/vault. Made pricing a breeze, instead of having to go into the market window and retype the item and search from there; it auto input and searched for the exact item. I tried to just reload that window from your previous version...but apparently it isnt compatible now and is only a black box, so I had to fall back to EQII default.
I simply found that one button as the selling point of your UI when I first met it, and then noticed and loved the rest. If it can never make it back, I'll just mourn it's loss by slaughtering a slew of beasties--but if it can, I shall fall down and worhip you more!

First i've heard of the tradeskill issue and haven't had a chance to play due to new ThorUI Auto Update coming but i'll look into it.
FYI i changed tradeskill windows some time ago from Zonx's to Jaxel's
That "may" be the issue which you could use Zonx's and overwrite mine if you wish.

The search function has been compromised slightly due to Sony's changing the page default to your characters class and level range. (Note: This didn't stop the function completely as it still works)
I'll be looking into what I can do to resolve their default window setting.
Until then everyone interested can /feedback sony in game asking them to please return default settings to "any" within the market window.

Anyway you could mod the search window to save the information in
the broker search window in the settings you last used.
ie: instead of it default to fury, if i set it to any, it would remeber that
i used any, and I wouldnt have to tab change fury to any each time i wanted
to look up an item.
this was really an unasked for setting added by Soe, and its pretty well
broken broker windows unless you know that you have to set the class
tab to any in order to be able to look up any jewelery or accessories, as
well as price checking any items which you are selling which you cannot
use (and in some cases the level restricts on the objects your selling or
buying are higher then you can use.).
aside from that ive been using your ui since i started back in august, and
very much appreciative that it is around.
