Default EQ2 Map Crashes / Fails to Load Correctly

I get the following error when I try and alter the options:

1.0.17 Unknown Thread Error: mscorlib

at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m)

I also get 2 error boxes that pop up.



Help??? Please?

Yes it worked before, and I have not done anything to my system recently to break it.. lol - I'm using XP Pro.

This was a strange error.
Try delete the "eq2map_config.cfg" file in the updaters install dir.
May be something messed up.

Nope, still crashing with the same error. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it, and get the SAME error. I'm really at a loss! Can anyone help?

Sorry that didn't work
You can try to Reinstall .NET 2.0 ,there might be a system file missing but the error message is a bit unclear.
