Default ITem Search Mod

Love your examine search thingie and i was wondering if you could
add another search function for tradeskill items like traders corner etc.

The reason I put the buttons and menu on the bottom was so that it wouldn't cover up the quest title. If you want it at the top do you want all the quest information moved down like in the Fetish window?

I think so. How would you use this? Would you look at an item on the broker and then search to see what ingredients are used to craft it? The search function on eq2traders doesn't look like you can create a custom URL to generate a search but I could make a google search like:

I recognize that it may not be possible, but just in case, I was wondering if somehow the maintained spells could be made so that if you click on an icon that it could target the target of the spell.

That way, if you have the same spell maintained on multiple targets, and one of them is running out of time, it would be easy to click the maintained icon, then hit the hotkey for the spell.

I know there is gamedata for it (/GameData.Maintained.Spell_1.Target) but don't know if there is any way to put a button behind a maintained spell icon, since they move about.

Anyhow, thank you very much for your consideration, and for all the amazing work you do to make the game so enjoyable for the rest of us

That's an interesting idea but if you try out the /target command it doesn't have any way of knowing what to target if two things are named the same thing. If there are two "a sentry of Ree" for example it will just target the closest one.

Ahh, yes, that makes sense. Could still be somewhat useful in large pulls of differently named mobs, but I can certainly see it being deceptive and/or confusing much of the time.

If only there were a way of somehow linking maintained spells to a target's effects, or some way to see the duration on effect icons in the target window, but I didn't see anything promising while searching the gamedata.

Thanks for the thoughts, and I guess I'll have to keep trying to keep mentel track of who I mezzed when

Default Bug with the fog option...

I'm currently having a problem where the "hide the fog" option is not showing up at all. I've tried all the old tricks where you go to the world map tab and then back to the currrent zone tab as well as just playing around with the resizing to see if it will reappear. Contrary to what I just said, in city zones it does sometimes show up but there isn't any fog in city zones anyhow.

I like this mod a lot though, so far it seems the closest to what i origionally had before RoK. Thanks for any help.

Are you talking about the Show Just the Map plugin? The Map Fog checkbox should act the same as the normal EQ2MAP.

Thanks for all the hard work Othesus.

I had a couple of questions regarding the Maintained Spells Window (Size 26):

1. The new Ward/Proc data is great but I've noticed a couple of oddities and was wondering if it's just the way that they are or if anything can be done about them.

a) Monk - Outward Calm (Ward 3720) shows as "3."

b) Defiler - Seeping Eschar (Ward 1112) shows as "1.112"

2. Is it possible to turn the Time Remaining Bar into a Ward/Proc Remaining Bar instead?

3. Is a Size 24 Maintained too much to ask for? I currently use Size 24 for all three windows and would love to add this one to the mix at the same size.

What I would really love is for a single Maintained Window only at Size 24 that Only shows the Ward/Proc Bar at the bottom and no text on the icons, if at all possible.

I'm willing to try the coding if you would be willing to share the knowledge on how to accomplish such a task.

Default Active Quest Helper

Looks like nobody has posted here in a very long time. I hope you are still around.

Anyways as you can guess your Active Quest Helper GU_36 needs an update so if you are still alive and kickin...would you mind fixing it please? Here is a screenshot of what it did when I installed it if it helps...
