Check your firewall settings to allow the aucp to access the internet. It only needs port 80.

What in loki's gibblets am I doing wrong? I installed it just as it said, nothing went wrong, i load up and got this! As far from the screen shot as I could imagine!

You didn't select a res setting when asked if you wanted to make eXtreme your default UI. So the game is using the UI setting you where using before you installed eXtreme. Go back into settings in the AUCP and set a res uisetting file to the character you use. Be sure to press the save button also.

Posted this to help but after reading the UI messages, you said to post here. What is happening is that at 1600x1200 when I change toons, the bars that normally have red yellow green are just shades of green. Also the text for the spell casting goes away as well. All I can do is to exit and restart when I want to change toons. I know this is not correct so I wanted to see if I had something set wrong or if there was some way to have the EQ2 just reload that UI. I have posted the normal and then the bad one on the same toon at the same spot. All that was done was to camp to that character.

This is a game issue not a UI issue, it's all covered in the FAQ in eXtreme's forums.

Hello Landiin,

There's still a problem with the 'one click' heals in the group window. They still don't work. Any clue when that might be fixed or if there's something that can be done on our end to fix it??

My mistake. Forgot RTFM...

Just wondering on status/progress after your move.

-Bag sizes
-Hide Helmet Button
-won't really mention healthbar as it is SoE - Well, mentioned it anyway
-Remove/Cure Effect thing on group bar.

Also, was there a fight over Infocenter or something for Download points being the reason you removed it? (not griping and never do, just wondering. Was nice to have it integrated into same updates)

Hi Landiin,

I have a question regarding the images used: Have you ever thought about using the .PNG format for the images? I've often wondered if they wouldn't load faster with better clarity and the file size might be reduced (which would improve load time and performance).

First of all, happy holidays!

Now then. I've used this UI almost since it became live on eq2interface. But I think it's end is near for it. Maintanence has almost ground to a halt, have to use other people's components to fix things not fixed in LU29/30.

All of a sudden .ini files are reverting to raw. On both my boxes and on guildmates as well. Have had to delete that character's ini file and let it replace it with selection from a near same ini file from another character then once I have it set again, Back it up.

eXtremeUI was the gem of all interfaces. I got almost my entire guild (200+ accounts) using it. But I quit when I had to play techsupport almost on a daily basis. Sure, when a LU comes out, it may take a day or two to fix up, and we've understood and waited and patched. But it's still not been updated since before LU29.

I'll watch and wait... don't let it die

I am trying to ocompletely remove the UI from my comp. to reinstall. I have ran the uninstaller from Start-> Programs and have removed all of the files that I can identify from my directory. I am obviously missing a few. Almost the entire UI is gone except for the 2 black background hashes up top of screen and the bottom. The Launchpad still downloads the .zip file during updating and the UIBuilder file from the directory will not stay away after being deleted! Thanks alot in advance, I love the UI, want to install it correctly this time!

Make sure the eXtreme directory is gone from the ui/ directory. Delete eq2.ini and your char settings.ini file from the everquest2 directory. The uninstaller will not remove these two files as they can hold user settings.

What .zip file is the launchpad downloading? If you are talking about uibuilder.zip it will alwasy download that if it's missing or out of date, it is part of the everquest 2 distribution. If the launchpad downloads it, then it is from SOE not me.

could you plz remove this last updated feature.. it seems that the pull menue for showhelm/showhood etc has focus mostly the time I use my cursor keys for char movement.. so if I press up or down key to move my char forward and backward the menue is scrolling up and down .. only thing I can do to get my cursor key work is to press the right mouse button at the same time.. and btw.. it seems it wont work with the german client.. I can select what I want.. my char isnt changing from showhelm to showhood etc.. if I type the slash commands it works..

Oh, OK, will look at that.. For now click in the chat input box of some other object should remove the focus from the drop down. ( I think) I'll look at that this weekend.

If you read the FAQ, it will tell you a lot of the questiongs you have about eXtreme. Ultimately the eXtreme's FAQ will tell you to download and install the infocenter.

Since hotbar update, the hotbars are now completely broken. Cannot get up options, cannot delete icons, or make any changes.

Something else, read the update notes in the patcher I may of missed something here :P

Thanks for the fixes. However, there's still a problem with the hotbars. =/ While you did restore the little gray handle to the hotbars, it can only be used to move the hotbar once it is unlocked. It cannot be right-clicked on to bring up the hotbar context menu. In fact, it seems almost impossible to bring up the hotbar context menu now. Please see if you can get this fixed. Thanks a lot.

This probably occured in the latest update, but you can only get the hotkey window menu outside of the Iconbank. So it has to be at the VERY edge of the window.
