Easy question about add-ons

If i'm not adding a new interface but just a small add-on like the one that makes hot bars smaller do I still go through all the steps listed in the sticky "How To Install Interface" post?

Was concered everything else wouldn't be there or something

Yes, even if its just 1 piece its still considered an interface.
