Any update for Classic yet? Just tried the Nightfall update but can't stand the purple :/

Is there an easy setting to change to get it to use the Classic colors?

Yes Classic will be updated. Can't really give an ETA. Now that Nightfall is done, I'm slowly porting over the changes to the Classic set when not busy with other stuff or actually playing the expansion myself :P

Untill I get the official Classic release done, you can install all the changed XML files from Nightfall except FetishStyles.XML over the 4.4 Classic release. A few elements (like titlebars) in changed windows will have the Nightfall coloring, but most of it will look Classic.

Note: Radio Buttons in the new Arena windows will not be visible using this method. If you are using the Arena, you'll want to trash all the Arena XMLs from your custom UI.

heh got tired of waiting for update and tried Thor UI. I won't be switching back

If 3 UI's are too hard for you to keep up with maybe you should support just one and take the other two off the board.............

Heh, you can't wait for Classic, can't install Nightfall (which was updated less than 24hrs after DoF release), and can't follow the quick fix instructions for patching Classic with Nightfall files, but you can find the time to whine about someone donating their time to a community not working fast enough for you.

actully it took me 20 seconds to make the reply, about 20 seconds to dl thor and another 30 seconds to have it running, a UI that was updated on the DoF release date. As far as Nightfall, i HATE the purple look, also it was not a whine, it was a statement about the fact you didn't update YOUR UI's, don't get your panties all in a wad there buddy

The EQ2Map Auto Updater overwrites the Fetish Map files.

So you end up with the Default looking map skin!

I keep get messages after this update LU 17 asking me to switch to a compatible UI.

Will this incompatibility issue be fixed soon? I love this UI, and would rather not find a new one.

Same here. I have read all posts here and on Fetish Nightfall Support...

I tried to set the eq.ini to UI/Default but then EQII does not folder after I loaded EQ2 Map which they updated recently...

I have also modded the eq2ui_mainhud_death.bak .

I deleted all of the .ini files like one post.

So here I am now, I had to QUICKLY type /loadui defaut in game before my system crashed. Again...

I am pretty lost with default. So I am taking the time to create all paramaters for Default ...In case of Emergency Break Glass, Not Monitor!!

This be good advice if anyone is listening here. This UI is too good to get discouraged. Thanks Zonx, UDM

Can anyone make another suggestion for me.about any undetermined problem.

Hey Zonx! Any future plans for a 'new' classic motif, like the new coloring theme SoE is using? The blue instead of a constant variation of brown is kinda nice.

I would try myself, but well... I can't even draw in MS Paint. :-(

Oh... and to respond to those having problems... it's a temp fix for you, but I did it... get the Fetish version and copy over just the updated files from 11/10/2005 to now. I'm not having any problems, but am getting a vibrant purple haze in my head now, hehe.

frankly, i hope the brown stays. I switched to this UI from ThorUI because of the coloring, and a few other things

The Fetish nightfall is closer to the blue.

but i switched back to Thor until Fetish gets fixed for LU#17

Oh I didn't mean for him to remove this one, I meant for there to maybe be another Motif, but with the new look of SoE's design... Nightfall is just too much color for me, hehe.

In the game when playing and want to open up inventory a window comes up saying The Inventory Inventory Window is not compatible with the current client Please upgrade your UI MOD to a compatible version or revert to the default UI(/loadui default). I currently have fetish classic version 6.3 as a UI MOD. How do I fix the problem? I do not understand the above instructions.

Any chance this and the FetishPieces will be updated as FetishNightfall is? It's at 7.0, the rest are very outdated.

Classic Version 8.1 is available for download.

The long over due update to Fetish Classic has finally arrived! I appologize for the extreamly long wait. I simply hadn't had the time to maintaining a second complete set. Recent changes to the EQ2 file encodings now make this much easier, so you can expect Classic to remain up-to-date going forward.
