Hey,
EQ Devs - suggestion for ya:
Can we get an AFK toggle button similar to the LFG button so we can know if we are still AFK? I have went AFK for a min (bio break, etc..) while in group and then an hour later I realise that i didnt take the flag off. T'Would be nice to have some sort of visual for AFK when in first person mode.
Thanks

Thought it sounded like a nice idea, I've been caught out on several occasions going into trader mode, then forgetting to cancel AFK when I'm done.
I've done a very basic job on this, merely adding another button beside the LFG and FIND buttons on the Groupmembers window, and for this version I've used the default Groupmembers window, although I have added it to my numbered window with player info for my use. There are so many different versions of the Groupmemeber window that this would have to be added to whatever one the particular individual wanted to use. (I can chuck out a few alternatives if anyone is interested).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
root.MainHUD.Groupmembers changes:
Added AFK Object to LFGPage for Groupmembers 1-5.
This is a copy of the LFG object but with these changes / additions:
OnPress=/AFK,
Style=/CheckboxStyles.AFK.style
Location=72,13 (39,13 for Groupmembers 2-5)
root.CheckboxStyles.AFK added to CheckboxStyles.xml:
This is a direct copy of CheckboxStyles.LFG,
but with the image files pointing to the new WidgetsAFK.dds file, same co-ords but different file.
\images\WidgetsAFK.dds added:
This is a slightly altered version of widgets01.dds,
changing the ! (LFG) icon to contain the text AFK, on all four versions.
If you don't have a custom groupmembers window already to install place
eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml
eq2ui_CheckboxStyles.xml
\images\WidgetsAFK.dds
into your custom UI directory.
EverquestII\UI\*CustomUIName*
If you do have a custom groupmembers window then place
eq2ui_CheckboxStyles.xml
\images\WidgetsAFK.dds
into your custom UK folder, and then add the above changes into your groupmembers.xml file.

The only problem I have encountered with this so far is if you manually type /afk then the AFK button will be reversed as it is only a toggle, and will highlight when inactive instead.
I haven't tested this on the server going down - previously I have logged back in to find myself still AFK, and this button would reset to unhighlighted upon logging back in.
