Issue with examing item links

Not sure if it's a problem with the UI or comes from somewhere else, but lately I haven't been able to check any item link at all, even open an examine window from gear I'm wearing. I had this problem a while back but it seemed to disappear so I wasn't all too worried. Alas... just tired of not being able to check anything out.

Any ideas?
