Default Waypoint issue

By using the EQ2 Map Mod there are two ways to get a waypoint to the destination.

The first one is to enter a location (23,-35,456) and press the CreatePath Button, which will end up in the /waypoint 23,35,456 command and results in a chatmessage like this one:
Your current destination lies somewhere to the north
This message will repeat every 10s or so

The second one is to click a target spot within the map which will also drawing a waypoint but this time it sends this output to the chatwindow:
A glowing trail leads you to that location

Now my question is, what is the command to do it the second way?
Would be great if someone could give me a hint as I'm not able to find the command inside the MapMod xml-files.

btw. does anybody know how the examine_item command works? I would like to create a button which opens the ExamineWindow and shows an item just like the following command in the chatwindow:
\aITEM 872464067 2043678177:Keeper's Robe of Quiescence\/a

thx in advance
