Followed FAQ, now EQ2 wont run

I followed the following instructions:

Q:Getting the following error when attempting to launch the updater:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."
A:You need to download and install the latest visual basic .net Framework, which at this time is 2.0 Beta. Getting this version also fixes the memory leak issue within EQ2 when zoning. Get it here.



Downloaded the file and isntalled it, now EQ2 crashes every time I start it after I get in game. How do I fix this or uninstall the patch?
