QUEST Reference, sorted by kills.

Just a general 'what if' thread here.

I've seen quiet a few databases that are out there for quest.
While they are useful, there are a few issues I have with them, and I often go to them only in dire need when I'm totally stuck on something.

Here are my problems with them.

1. ALOT OF MISINFORMATION
2. Sort/Search features dont' work very well.
3. The organization is all wrong.

I'm wondering what sort of ideas you guys have on making this information that has already been collected 'more useful'.

Here is the main thing I would like to see.

I want a data base that I can organize and resort by NPCs that I have to hunt. I can't believe this has not been done yet.

For example, you often have multiple quest out there that you have to hunt the same type of NPC. One kill, updates all the quest! Which is great, if you know this BEFORE you go out killing.
The other issue is the order of the quest. You often have to get them in 'sync'.
For example two books, that have you killing gnolls, unless you make an effort to get them in sync, you are often having to kill twice as many of a particular type then you should, if you had done things in the correct order.

So, what ideas do you have for sorting quest by NPCs that you must kill, including multiple step quest.

This way I could say, Ok, I am going to go kill giants, let me check my list here and sort it by Giants... Oh look there aer 6 quest that require me to kill giants, and here is where those quest can be obtained.

This one says Giants Step 1 of 5, so I want to get that quest advanced to step 5 before I go killing giants, or leave that one out.

etc..

You get the idea.
