Default Failed my first attempt to get a UI to work

Hi! The only UI I've successfully used is EQ2maps, which did about everything automatically for me. I'm now trying to get an Experience Bar UI to work, (DrumsUI to be specific) and I'm stuck. I apologize if the answer is out there, but I couldn't find it in the few minutes I've searched. Hopefully I'm making a simple mistake.

I tried following the install instructions, which tell me to make a folder inside of the UI folder in the EQ2 directory. I named it expui. I extracted the DrumsUI files into the folder (it contained three xml fiels and a DrumsUI folder, which has a settings folder, which in turn has a settings xml file). I then made a text file in the EQ2 directory called eq2.ini which contained the lines

cl_ui_skinname expui
cl_ui_subdir UI/

The only words I replaced were "bobsui" to "expui." Am I supposed to change "skinname" or "subdir" ? I then loaded EQ2 and nothing seemed different. I also tried switching the lines as was suggested in the comments. Am I supposed to do something else in order for the UI to appear on my window? Do I turn it on or off?

Thanks for your help!

Clint
