Map Updater gone Wild??

Just spent over a week getting all the updates for my custom UI's and getting them all working as I wanted. Worked last nite...worked again tonite on 3 characters, 3 accounts. (Used EQ2Map updater last nite before logging in my main....everything worked fine.) Closed my accounts tonite...and went to go into my main account...and used Map Updater this time...to update my POI's, etc. When my account opened....all my UI's were really screwed. Changed my Personna, Experience, Target, Effects & Maintained, Hotbars, and not sure what else.

Thought....well i can outsmart that....did /load_uisettings and loaded settings from account I just used before map updater. Same screw-ups. What the heck happened? I really dont understand. Any idea what i can do...or if anything to get back without going back yet again and re-installing and setting up every one again??

BTW....XP System Restore hasnt set a restore point over the last 4 days....so that doesnt help either. Any idea what file(s) might have changed to mess this up?? Any help would be appreciated...as it is currently 3am....and I am about ready to throw my puter out on the drive and run over it...or go back to playing Texas Hold-em instead of E

The EQ2MAP updater should only touch files associated with the map. That shouldn't have a problem with custom UIs in most cases.

To see what it changes, edit your eq2.ini to have it install into a blank folder (IE, EQ2MAP) instead of one of your UI folders. All the files you see there are all that it changes.

To help you more, you'll have to tell us what you mean by changed. How did your UI change? Did the font change or disappear? Are images gone and replaced with black boxes?
