please try not to submit duplicate pois!

Hi,
today i have set nearly 20 POIs as bad. Some of them seem to be browser resubmittal POIs
but i discover 16xxx POIs which are the same as a xxx.

Try to keep the map clean, dont submit to much. Keep Quest information to a minimum, no long story and please no credits.

I wonder if the cluster detector math could be modified and have an if() statment so if there are other POI's very close to the one submitted the person will be shown a screen with a list of all the POI's close to theirs and asked to confirm if its not already in the system.

yeah that would be good, and try to find a submittal process which checks for duplicates. some of them seem to be reload-page-resubmittals

I just marked bad another 20 POIs. Could someone else check all the clustered POIS, I very often find there duplicates, usually a very old one and a very new one..

I sent duplicate entries.

Is there a way to delete one of them.

I am sorry -- was not paying attention when I submitted and submitted twice.

Should I select one and mark it as bad???

yes mark it as bad and leave a comment when you mark it as bad that says its a duplicate.
