Default Need help PLEASE :(

Ok
I am at wits end here. It is stressing me out. I lose all chat windows, maintained buff window whenever I log. Whenever i come back to game they are gone and my target windows are not where i left them. I have tried every suggestion I have read on these boards and eq2 and nothing is working.
Yesterday I even deleted EQ2 completely from my computer and reinstalled it.
Nothing. Please can someone help me out. I am not getting any help from the tech support either.

When you uninstalled and reinstalled did you setup a custom UI again?
Did you try the default UI solely?
Did you make sure to delete your servername_charactername_eq2_uisettings.ini, eq2_recent.ini, eq2_default.ini, eq2.ini, and (name)_characters.ini files to make sure there is no reference to anything so you can rebuild from scratch?

The last one is kinda rough for some because you have to go through all the settings for all your characters... BUT its usually a sure way to get it fixed.

IF you delete those files, start up one character, setup everything how you want it EXACTLY (using default UI to be sure) then zone and camp out... As in camp waiting for the 20 seconds (I camp to desktop).

This was the only thing that worked for me... if I changed anything afterwards it is almost an act of a higher being to get it to stick.

You haven't specified what you tried so I'll mention what worked for me.

What worked for me was logging out. Editing the eq2_recent.ini and deleting the line CHAT FONT SIZE = 20 at the bottom. This made all my problems go away.
