MP3 Player??

Is there an MP3 Player in the game yet?

No, and it can not be added.

CombatStats has some thing that can play mp3s, but it won't actually show in game at all.

Why do people still ask for this? EQ2 is a windows enviroment friendly game. Simply run your favorite mp3 player in the background and play EQ2 at the same time. Even Windows Media player will still allow you full control of the player while in EQ2. All you need to do is use your keyboard preset keys or keys that you "macroed"/bound to the player to change tracks, pause, play, ff, rw, etc etc.

Why do people try and stop progress! Who cares if you can run an mp3 player outside of EQ2, it destroys the illusion! Can I get an in-game player or what? Im working on the build right now via reviewing other posts. Why stop progress when it will better the gaming experience!

As I already clearly answered in this thread, it can NOT be added to EQ2 by us.

Sony would have to do it, and they have shown no signs of wanting to.

Use a global hotkey program and you don't have to do any alt-tab stuff, but an mp3 player can't possibly fit into any game illusion, so that's a silly argument.

I use iTunes and a Konfobulator widget called iTunes Companion so i got full control over my music in game via custom keyboard commands.

Here's what you are all looking for. An in-game Mp3 player that is skinned to match the game. Also at the link are downloads for a combat parser, item database, and of course SageUI.

Edit: Also, the mp3 player installer gives me an error hehe. Says it can't find EQ2. Do I need to have the game installed in the default location? E.g. Program Files/Sony yada yada/etc blabla.

EQ2-MP3-Player

EverQuest2 in the play and window mode bring and afterwards the MP3-Player start.
The Player will switch Everquest2 into the frame mode, with current dissolution.
If another dissolution to be desired should can in the options be changed.
To consider that is also supported the used monitor this dissolution.
The frame mode can be also deactivated in the options, thus with the next uses the Players the EverQuest2 window remains untouched.
After start of the Players the Playlist should be filled. The Playlist is stored with the program end and loaded with the next start + to open the Playlist.

other information:
- the Player has the focus can it with Strg + X be in -/faded out
- with one doubleclick on an entry in the Playliste this title one plays
- the points on the left and on the right beside the progress announcement make it possible for pre and back to Skipen
- click into the progress announcement reels for the position of the pointer of mouse


It is importantly that the MP3-Player forwards terminates by EQ2 is closed otherwise the task bar there remains hidden

The Mp3-Player uses parts of EverQuest2, for this reason is that uses only in the connection
with EverQuest2 permits. Without EverQuest2 in the play mode the MP3-Player cannot be started
