Default Installing more than one interface

I already have the EQ2Map interface installed and I love it. I'm looking to improve a few pieces that I can't stand dealing with (like the group and inventory windows). If I want to download a few more interface pieces, do I have to dump everthing into the same directory I already have or can I create several under the /UI subdirectory and just add to the loading command in the eq2.ini file?

In other words, can I install my different interfaces at these locations:
C:\\Program Files\EverQuest II\UI\interface1
C:\\Program Files\EverQuest II\UI\interface2
C:\\Program Files\EverQuest II\UI\interface3

And then modify the eq2.ini file to read:
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname interface1
cl_ui_skinname interface2
cl_ui_skinname interface3

Thanks!

I'm new to EQ2, but I built my own collection of UI mods in EQ1 so I know the basics behind this stuff I think, however the question I have this go around is if I'm collecting different individual mod pieces, and I have a file with the same name in place (specifically eq2ui_skininfo.xml) does it matter from which mod that copy of skininfo comes from?

I can see where having other files (images for instance) with a same name would cause problems, but I can't see where the skininfo file comes into play and what effect one version from one mod will have on others mods.

yea, you can over write skininfo.xml with out worrying. All it is is the file /loadui command looks for and it has basic info about the skin in it.. ver# auther, website, discription ect..

Thanks for the info!

I decided to crack the file open myself after noticing my attempt to /loadui came up with fields familiar to the one I left in there last.

I've since edited some of the info to reflect that the UI set I'm using is mine and therefore won't confuse me when I'm testing other mods under other custom UI directories.

Again thanks for the quick reply, especially given the hour
