Waypoint location to show on map

I was wondering if it's possible to have it so that when you type, for example, /waypoint 100,100,100, a dot will appear on the ingame map to show exactly where that location is?

Sometimes, following the wispy trail is frustrating because of impassble hills and such. So, knowing exactly where a particular loc is would be a great help.

(If there already IS such a UI, can someone point me to it, please?)

This is something Im always bringing up to my friends as well.

I wish there was an indicator on the map which would blink or something for all waypoints.

Seems like a no brainer, othe games do it, it would be great if EQ2 did it as well.

unfortunately, until we can manipulate strings its not possible
