what purpose do the numbers next to the icons serve? I would think that unless they served some real purpose, they would just be taking up space needlessly, but that's just me.
Is that an EQ1 interface??
Anyway the numbers would hafta be static. You couldn't really link them to any specific spell icon because ... well not sure how to explain. Basically the numbers would always be there.
Bah. I know what I mean I just can't say it. Hmph.
One thing about eq1 UIs is I run both games at the same size and rez but there is always room for loads of chat windows and info on a eq1 UI and still loads of viewable play area left... but with eq2 UIs unless you run at a very high size even a few windows seem to take up a lot of room.... EG: in eq1 I have 5 chat windows.. eq2 I have 2 with 3 tabs..... There gotta be some logic in there but me missed it lol
Anyways the point is to me having all the effects in a numbered list would take up way too much space.. But dont let that put you off Findarato it would be interesting to see how this turns out if you stick with it

Oh man does that screen shot make me miss Vert....
Please for the love of all that is good in this world will somebody convert Vert to EQ2. I know Kudane had started it a long time ago but the project seems to have fallen off the radar. I wish I didn't suck with graphics as I'd give it a whirl myself.
