Market window wishes

I love shopping for stuff. My many (mostly painful) searches have brought to light a couple.. "inadequeces" that make the whole process of buyer meeting seller take alot longer than it should.

Big bad bugs:

Firstly, as a provisioner, something that is no doubt hurting my bussiness and making it VERY hard for people to find useful food: You can't limit food searches by con. In the market window, if you try to search for food that cons, say, from white to orange (ie the useful stuff) the search always comes up blank. the market window categorizes all the food as grey.

Another one, searching for something for my secondary slot is impossible. It doesn't limit the search at all, results are the same as selecting "any" for slot.

Also, while i'm not entirely sure what they are supposed to search for, i have never had a result for "book" or "tradeskill".

The most damaging bug of all: The "special" column doesnt work. I'm a cleric, wisdom is my thing. If i pick "wis" under special the results get limited to stuff with wisdom correctly, but the special column is blank. Instead of being able to click the special column and have it sort by highest wisdom, i have to sift though dozens of pages looking for the item with the highest wisdom.

A few things that would make searching.. easier.

For a bag search, list number of slots under the special column.

The only way to look at the stats of an item in the search window is to examine it. This is bad. The examine window is great for comparing 2 items, but when i want to browse through 10 pages of items they are a pain in the butt. after a few pages of browsing i have a pile examine windows open, and i get a message telling me i have hit the window limit . how about an easier way to veiw stats? On the inventory window, if i mouse over one of my items, i see all the important stats in a mouseover. applying this to the market window would be brilliant ui work.

The results should list the number of items in the stack, like inventory does. if i search for something i have no idea how many i can buy until they're gone. Also, when i buy all of something, the listing should dissapear.

Right now, searching for stuff takes alot of patience. Making search more user friendly would open it up to alot more of the casual, mass market people smed was talking about , and would probably help the economy.

The patch on test right now lets you search for food, potions, and poisons according to con color.

The rest of your concerns... I agree with. More options are needed to refine our searches.

I /feedback'd this when I started selling WORTs with my Alchemist toon. Again, guess it isn't a high priority. Although I'd give my left arm (err, maybe somebody else's left arm, on second throught) for qty display and a "buy stack" button.
