Default Saving Changes

I was working through the small tutorial posted here, except that I was doing my own modifications (wanted to move the 'reset' button on the market window so I stop accidentally hitting it). When I went to save changes, it gave me a whole slewl of xml files that were being changed (presumably because I moved them so I could see the market window) and that it couldn't save the changes I made. Am I doing something wrong? I went through the xmldiff.exe program, but all it gave me was that the positions of certain windows were being changed. In the end, my changes weren't saved. Any ideas? I'm sure this is something simple that I am doing wrong, just not sure what it is.

Any help is appreciated!

Default

Your asumptions are correct if you move or show/hide any window it will class that as a change to the file...

Just use file save from the menu bar... Also make sure if you have the folder open that you are saving the files to, Do a refresh of that window to make sure it has updated the contents...... I have made that mistake before lol and ended up with the old file again

Also, be sure you're not saving into the Default folder. Either File -> Save As to a new subfolder of /UI/, or copy eq2ui.xml beforehand.
