Default error launching EQ2

I havent changed anything lately although havent played in about a month. I fired up the updater, hit auto launch and got the following message:
There was an error trying to launch Everquest 2, this could be an indication that this file has been placed in an incorrect location please open Everquest 2 manually.
was hoping that the maps would come through since they updated anyways but they didnt
can anyone help me?

Default Same

I'm having the same problem. I just got the file, had it on my desktop and ran the .exe. It ran like it should, even updated the maps, but then said it couldn't run EQ2 and I had to start manually. When I get in.. no UI change.
