Remaining ward display

Now that extra ward information is being pushed to the client I have a request.

I would like a maintained effects window that displays the remaining absorbtion for a ward I cast somdewhere visible. As it stands now this information is in a tooltip, and it is not convenient to keep mousing over the icon if I want to determine when to recast the ward. Is it possible to make this info display all the time?

I think it's only being pushed to the logs. I have looked through all the game data available to us and am not able to find the data needed to display this IRT on the UI.

If it's being displayed in game thru the tooltip associated with the icon, shouldn't you be able to take that and just make it display permanently?

No, the game doesn't work that way.

There is a lot of info available in tooltips that cannot be displayed in another window.

Final word from an actual modder? Sounds like it might not be possible but I'd like to be absolutely sure.

I had a look as well and couldnt see that it would be possible either...

Maybe ask for it in the wish list thread, As like you say this would be usefull info to have on display all the time.
