Default Cant get Maps to Update?

When I try to run EQ2 map updater it fails to get any updates and instead i get an error message reading

Error Getting File List: System.Xml
at System.Xml.Schema.DtdParser.ParseDocTypeDecl()
at System.Xml.Schema.DtdParser.Parse()
at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.ParseDtd(XmlScanner scanner)
at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.ParseTag()
at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.ParseRoot()
at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.Read()
at System.Xml.XmlReader.MoveToContent()
at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(XmlReader reader, Boolean denyResolving)
at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(String fileName)
at WindowsApplication7.Form1.DownloadExtras()This is an unexpected token. The expected token is 'DOCTYPE'. Line 1, position 3.

Ive tried disabling my firewall and have installed the program into eq2/ui directory but I still get this error no matter what I try...

Please help me get this working!

Any help much appreciated!

Scott.

Do you both have Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 installed?

Before Installing:
You must have The Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 or greater for this program to run
The Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 can be downloaded from windows update.
There is also a direct link found within the file description on this mod.
When you try and run the program and you get "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." or something similar it is because you either dont have the .net framework, or you have the .net framework but it not 1.1 or greater.

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 BETA is required if you are running x64 edition of Windows XP (you need the x64 version)

Not sure if this is what is causing your errors. If it is firewall error... make sure in windowsfirewall you have the Net frame full access. If you are using McAfee/Norton or other firewalls, make sure their settings are allowing the .net frame access as well.
