Question Chat Settings - Multiple UIs

Greetings!

There are several fantastic UIs here...and I find myself switching between several of them as the mood strikes me.

My question concerns that and also when the makers of those UIs update them....

I have my chat settings the way I like it for the most part.....at times the settings don't stick for a few of the channels and I have to change it......but whenever I switch UIs or an update to one I like comes out I have to completely re-do all my chat settings.

Is there a way to export/import or copy the chat window settings and tabs so that I can paste the info into the updated INI file? The INI files don't look like text to me (unless I'm doing something completely wrong).

Thanks in advance....

I think the answer to this is going to be yes AND no, in a way.

I'm not even close to being an expert in the complete sets UIs.
But, all those settings are in the file that many mod authors use that is the 'servername.charactername.ini' file.
They include this file for the purpose of positioning, the windows. The mobs will work without those files, they include them for convienence. The reason your chat settings change is because that info is also saved in that file ' I THINK'
So one open you have is to not use that file at all, and just load the UI and position the windows yourself. Other than that, I can't think of a way around it.
