Default Kosmo's Flipp'in Idea

Ideas for Future Projects!

I know I have alot of these, but as with many of you guys, there just insn't enough time in the day, and when I think I have come up with an idea that seem possible. I have to write it down. I figure it's best to toss it in here, incase anyone is looking for a project to work on. I'm sure most of us have more ideas than time, but where better place to post it.

So we have working If statements now thanks to DeathBane!
AND to top that off Zonx figured that Text comparisons work!
In addition to that! it appears that we can move data across branches!

So how about this for a Scout Class project.

When an Heroic Opportunity is started!

Compared the Heroic Opportunity Spell to the current Maintained spell names
one at a time. If it matches any of them, Pop up a window that says something like

Swindlers Luck = Swindlers Luck
Flip It? YES! NO!

Clicking Yes would trigger the flip and clicking No of course would make the window go away.

What cha think?

Sounds doable, just not sure about the whole process. Don't play my scout much, even less in groups, but it seams like a compairison to maintained spells is kind of a wonky way to go about it.

If you're trying to determin if the curent character is a scout class, just test their gamedata.self.subclass (whatever the exact DD is).

If you're checking ability availability, do a lvl check.

Seams like checking maintained will only give you abilities already in use and probably not refreshed.

Could maybe use maintained, class and lvl to filter a popup list of all available trigger abilities. Could be wrong but I thought scouts get more then one ability for flipping HOs.

Bingo! That is what I WANT it to do.

I want the window to pop up ONLY in the case that the HO Gets started and it says Swindlers Luck..

As it is now. Scouts are responsible for Flipping this IF you already have swindlers luck.

For example HOs are on a 6 minute timer.
The first group HO is swindlers luck, then the next one gets started.

Its a waiste to do Swindlers Lucky again, it just resets it.
That is where the Scout Comes in, we can Flip this.. we can Flip it and get a chance at Another HO ability. So that you can get maybe Bravo's Dance Instead of a reset on Swindlers Luck.

Right now, we have to basically have all the icons memorized, because when the HO wheel comes up and gets started you have to decide VERY quickly if the HO needs to be flipped, based on what HO's are already up and going.

If a window were to pop up ONLY when the Current HO opportunity named, matched the name of a Maintained spell, then I would immediately know.
Yes, it needs to be flipped. NOW.

Would be VERY VERY groovy.

Any 'COIN' ability will FLIP the HO Opportunity.
The MOD could be coded to use All of them, it would just try one and go to the next one. Until one worked, perhaps.

For example a guy posted a macro on the official forums, basically stacking the Mastery Combat Abilities on one macro.

So you put Gnoll Mastery, Skeleton Mastery, and Orc Mastery On one macro.
When you hit it, if its not the right creature it goes to the next one.

Coin Abilities could work the same way be.

At the very least we could have the mod downloadable per class bases, which would be a huge pain, but would work.

Of course just brain storming.
