How to Search using EQ Maps?

Map has a TON of info. Say I want to search for a specific NPC in the map (or a mob or a quest) how do i do it?

You can use the POI Finder mod (which is superb), but you have to manually update it every time a new version is released.

I've been using the POI Finder Updater, which updates the POIs in the POI Finder automatically. I use it as recommended, in conjunction with the EQ2Map Auto Updater.
