well, to put it simple.. i'm a caster. when i click a group member's name to assist them, i DONT WANT AUTO ATTACK TOGGLED ON. its annoying.

any way to remove this little.. uhm 'feature'(more of an annoyance on my end)? thanks.

Any of the following will avoid the convenience macro...

1) Click any place in the window EXCEPT the player's name.

2) Use F1-6

3) Open eq2ui_mainhud_group.xml in Notepad and delete all the assist button objects. Find: Name="Assist" should get you to each of the code lines.

If you want to retain the assit functionality without autoattack, delete all occurances of autoattack='1.0'
