Issues Installing EQ2map

Hey there.

I just downloaded the EQ2 Map file and when i attempt to install is by double clicking the icon an error comes up Reading as follows : EQ2map_updater.exe - Application Error
X-the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click ok to terminate the program

I cant find anything about this on the forums...can anyone gimme a hand...im on windows XP with a computer well able to play the game...so i dont think the system is the problem...
