Default Nightfall Question

I cant get this UI to work. Ive created the eq2.ini file, Ive deleted the eq2ui.xml file. But its just not showing up, am I supposed to delete the "default" folder thats in the UI folder?

Also I cannot get eq2map auto-updater to work. I installed multiple times, but I keep getting "application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) when I try to run it.

Any help would be appreciated.

What step in the installation instructions found at http://faq.eq2interface.com are you having trouble with? The default folder is needed by the game so dont delete it. Just make a new folder like the FAQ asks.

As with the eq2map updater problem read the "Before Installing:" found here: http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3509

Is that how its supposed to look? Or do I put them all into the fetishui folder? Thats how it is now, and its just flat out not showin up.

Thats the uploader I have, and I am getting an error with it.

These are the exact steps I took (ive read the faqs, readme's and the fetishnightfall.doc).

>Made folder named fetishui.
>Created eq2ui.ini (in eq2 folder) (also edited contents to match my folder name)
>Unzipped eq2map into that folder.
>Unzipped fetish_nightfall into that folder.
>Removed eq2ui.xml from fetishui folder (didnt work before or after I did this).

If missed a step, I cant figure out which one. Ive read and followed directions as best I could.

fetishui folder contests are
> eq2map
> images
> various xml files

Thanks in advance, cant wait to get this working.

Yes that looks correct

Did you read the section I pointed out that told you to install .net from the windows update patcher? From what i understand the only reason you get that error is if you have an old .net installed or none installed at all.

The name of the file should be eq2.ini not eq2ui.ini. Also make sure your not naming it eq2.ini.txt (if you are hideing known file extentions windows will rename it as that).

You shouldnt have to delete the eq2ui.xml unless the author asked you too.

Thats the only things I can see that are wrong atm.

Ah I didnt see the .net thing, I will look for that now, and I will change the eq2ui.ini to eq2.ini.

Thanks for help. Hopefully you wont see another post by me in this help forum anytime soon.
