Need Help!!!

Hi all i've been using bits and pieces from this site since i started playing EQ2, never had any problems installing or anything else, till a few days ago.

I reached lvl 50 on my main, so i started an alt, and redid her UI like it was on my 1st character, all went well, till i logged out with my alt...

On my main EVERYTHING saves and stores where it is supposed to be, where i putted it and how i set it up.

However on my alt he doesn't save any of my chat window setting, i normally have 3 chat windows showing, 1 for guild/group, 1 for battle messages and 1 for the other stuff.
Everytime i log in with my alt, i need to take 30 minutes to get my chat windows like they were, and set em up like they were. Which is really beginning to bug me.

Can somebody help with this problem? Oh and i only have 1 CustomUI folder for both characters.

Pls help me, as i'm starting to hate playing my alt, because of the chatwindows...

First guess is that you have a messed up settings INI. Maybe delete it, then retry?
if not, copy the charsettings INI for your main to another folder, rename it to the one for your alt, then put it back into the original folder. Should work right. I hope. Im tired so stuff meebbe doesnt make sense

check your eq2_recent.ini (sp?) for a line at the bottom that reads something like FONTSIZE=20 delete the line. Solved a similar problem for me.

Worked like a charm, now it's even EXACTLY like my main
