Any plans to add Public Quest icon to eq2map?
With GU101 they added a new icon publicquest_marker.dds around certain maps. The small pq's have a picture of a sword and the big ones have a picture of 3 men standing together. Thanks.

Could the PQs be made easier to see please? The default UI map shows them as big blue circles so currently I switch back and forth between Drums and Default UI since the smaller EQ2MAP PQ icons are hard to see.

Filtering the POIs and clearing them all does make the PQ icons easier to see.
Be nice if you could click on them to create a path to them.

I'd like the scimitars to be larger though within a filled circle or something. On grey/brown backgrounds, they're still hard to see for me.

Be nice if you checked out Hydrow rower here and could click on them to create a path to them.

Yes that would be awesome if you could do that. Would make life so much easier to have a clear path to follow.

You can add the blue glow to eq2map by dropping the attached file "_Skinnable_Location_Images.xml" file in the eq2map folder and replace the one that is there.
or
Just add this to the end of the one that is there:
Code:
<Image AutoSize="true" BackgroundColor="#00FFFF" Location="240,2" Name="publicQuestRegionTemplate" ScrollExtent="128,128" Size="128,128" SourceRect="0,0,128,128" SourceResource="images/publicquest_marker.dds" Visible="false" />

This change is already live in the default EQ2MAP UI.
But the change is located is "_Skinnable_Styles.xml"
I see now that i maybe should move it to "_Skinnable_Location_Images.xml" would make more sense.

Not sure which is best Jnils,
Hadn't played in a long time.. Reinstalled and installed the Manual version of EQ2Map I didn't have a blue glow but did get the scimitar.
I searched every file for publicQuestRegionTemplate or publicquest_marker.dds and couldn't find it. Based on where it was located in the default map and the way it is modularized in eq2map that seemed like the file to stick it
Maybe the Manual Install version is out of sync?

It's not out of sync , it's out of date, have not been updated for more than a year.
I have to do it manually , so it is not done very often.
You need to use the Auto Updater to get the latest files.

ahh yes. I see it now 09/08/2014 over two years and still running like a champ.
Guess, I will have to reinstall the auto updater
