The only map features you could get without violating the EQ2 EULA would be something that read the log file and showed you a new map every time you changed zones. Maybe you could have it read the log file for /loc information, but you would have to /loc yourself. The only way to get the current location without requiring you to /loc is to get the data from the running EQ2 program, and that's against the EULA.
