DarqUI doesn't have any prompts for using an advanced UI, so I'm not sure where that's coming from. Your current hotkey assignments are kept on the Daybreak game server, so unless you physically cleared the hotkeys from your game window, they should still exist. If some of your hotbars are missing, right-click a visible one and click "Open new hotbar." The hotkeys will already be loaded onto it.
Edit: Now that I think about it, it seems like there is some kind of tutorial mode for new players (maybe beastlords?) that changes the UI around. But I've never explored it so I can't say whether that's what you're seeing.
