I don't think that this is a bug, it's their design decision, although I would have preferred that they would continue to only deliver the time on this.

The display issue is easily corrected by enlarging the textbox correspondingly.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.
