Smile Sign of life

Hi all,

very sorry for the long absence without a word, which was mostly due to me being abroad for work and generally not having much free time and spending the bit I had on different things than EQ2.

I paid a short visit to EQ2 yesterday for the first time after over a month of absence. I never had much time to spend on the game but currently and at least for the weeks/months to come it is even less, so I am considering whether it is worth keeping my subscription going. No decision has been taken in that respect yet, however.

Anyway, I built a new computer this weekend as well, and the beauty of EQ2 as I can play it now on extreme quality settings with all graphics settings maxed is simply breathtaking and feels like a whole new game, so I guess I will want to go on sightseeing in EQ2 for a while yet. (Unfortunately, I still had to turn down the settings for raiding.)

From what I saw while in game, the UI still seems to be working, except for the implied target effects auto-resize which I must have broken and for the hotbar settings being a pain to access, which is SOE's work. Since that is not too bad I guess you must have survived without me for a while. I haven't yet read any of the posts that have been made since when I was last on in December of course. I'll probably put a fix out there by the weekend (and likely some helpful soul already posted one anyway) and see what else needs to be done to bring this up to date.

Alright, so much for the overdue update from my end, thanks for your understanding.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.
