Couple Issues..
 

Hello,

First.. Thank you for making the program! Its GREAT!

Then.. couple issues I keep getting and just wondering what I need to do to fix them.

1) Fog of war - Check box to remove/ keep Fog is sometimes there.. most times not...

2) When I hit PoI's and bring up the box, nothing comes up in the box in certain zones. In Qeynos, I get stuff, in Antonicia or TS .. I get nothing or like 1 thing... Is this right or messed up?

After reading that.. thought I would be a little more specific...

I will be in Antonica .. zone in.. lil box to remove fog of war.. hit map.. look around.. turn map off.. turn on again.. and lil box is gone.. sometimes it comes back.. most times it doesnt. I want it :)

PoI's, when I first downloaded the program like 3 months ago.. when I would be in Antonica, there were lots of PoIs that came up. Now I have None. It happened after one of the patches.. probably about 2 months ago.. I am just now getting around to mentioning it.. I have the same problem with Thundering Steps and Nek ....

What can I do to fix the PoI problem?
Is there anything I can do to keep the lil box that removes the Fog of War? Since it happens sometimes like 30%, it drives me crazy when I cant get it pop when I need it.

Anyway..hope that helps a lil more.

The fog of war box only applies in certain areas if I remember correctly, namely the newb zones. Once you start going into Ant and places the data for where you have been is stored on Sony's servers so the box wont work.

As for the other question I'll let someone else answer as I have no idea :p

When is the last time you ran the updater? It sounds like you may have some bad files and things need to be updated. Other then that I don't see why the POI's are not show up, unless you have then turned off in the POI menu :P

Try and redownload the EQ2 auto mapper. Just reinstall it and start the updater. This should solve all your problems.

The funny thing is that the Fog of War box comes up quite often in Non Newbie zones.. like Antonica/Nec/TS and last night in Feerott. Box popped.. you could you remove.. you could put it back to see what you had actually uncovered.. and then.. the box disappeared and never came back.

(also.. I do the updater every time I get on.. I let the updater update,,, then it starts EQ2,,, then I log in and play..)

So.. I will do the suggestions and report back!

I downloaded and installed over my current files the autoupdater again.

I am still able to use the Fog of war in Antonica, Ferrott, TS.... but its not a constant thing.

After reading my post above.. I think I was using the wrong wording...
When I view my map.. I have dots on the map that show and highlight names, quests etc... when I hit my waypoints box... I have nothing in that box.

When I first started using EQ2Maps.. that box had locations of different mobs thruout the zone and would light up a trail to get to them. Now my waypoints box is empty of PoI's.

Anyone have any other suggestions on how to fix this?

Taking a wild stab in the dark here....

Perhaps you were using the EQ2Map Map Spoiler Project, and need to add that back in?
