For those looking for a little bit more flexibility. I really like the look of Himays Exp Bars and then someone asked for the bars in a row instead of a column. So I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try.
I do these interface pieces for myself and then share them. So if you want something different than what I've done I might be persuaded to make changes. Of course it depends on what they are.
So if you find this useful, well... cool beans.
8/12/07 11:00am Sorry if you downloaded this before now. You'll notice that the exp bars don't show up. This is because EQ2 UI Builder adds a few slashes to lines it shouldn't. Normally I take them out with a text editor but on the last change before I posted I forgot. So this one should work.
1.2 Wow two updates in one week. Well this update is because when I logged on this morning the exp percent was off. There appeared to be some change in the font. So I readjusted things a bit.
I also made another change. I'm not really sure what the little colored boxes to the right of the adventure and tradeskills exp bars are suppose to do. They are called "gems". Well the one next to Achievements lists your unspent points, which is useful. The one to the right of the guild exp didn't do anything. I put it there for symmetry. So I got to thinking it would be nice if it did something. So I set it to call up the guild window when clicked on. I liked it so much that I added the same functionality to the other "gems".
Adventure = Persona Window
Achievement = Achievement Window
Tradeskill = Recipe Book
Guild = Guild Window
And just in case no one noticed, you can still shrink the bar down to the one exp bar and use the pop up to changed it to the others, well except guild. If someone knows how to change that pop up window let me know and I'll add the guild exp bar as an option.
Well this update is in response to Bekkr. Who suggested that I put the number of guild members currently on line in the gem for guild exp. I loved the idea and it took very little effort. I also added a few tool tips.
Okay, fine, I got rid of the bar on top. But I didn't want to make the bars any longer horizontally. So I put all the experience percents in the same space. To see the vitality and dept percents just click on the experience percent. I also made a few nuts and bolts changes to the window. And as I said in my Persona window update I didn't like the color for Guilds so I changed it to yellow.
A minor update. Just a change in graphics to match my other pieces
I have no idea why they desided to change the name from Achievements to Alternate Advancement, but they did. So I've updated my experience bar to reflect this change.
Yes, I know about the new achievement system, but couldn't they have given it a different name. This change in name seems a bit arbitrary and confusing for the slow.
