I haven't been around much for medical reasons, but I am very happy that keeping ProfitUI alive has made the game better for you.

I can't take much credit for the latest improvments. Darq Wood of DARQUI built the installer we now use, and others still chip in to keep things going. I just encourage and instigate. I'm good at that.

I'm still playing and I'm glad you are too.

Hello and thank you or keeping Profit UI up to date.

I am having some issues when trying to use the quest lookup links under each quest in the game, I've tried all links, EQ2wiki, Zam, EQ2U, Google. And all the links crash the game as soon as I click on them. This is a big feature for me and would like to know if its just broken for everyone or if there is a way for me to fix it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go into your \ProfitUI_CE folder and delete eq2ui_mainhud_browser.xml, then restart the game. You will be using the default in-game browser which won't have any of the tabs and other ProfitUI features, but you will be less likely to have crashes. ProfitUI's tabbed interface contains 8 instances of the browser element, and that can be very taxing on some computer systems.

Please post again if you're still crashing regularly after trying this.

Did as you suggested however the game still crashes when using the links.

Does it crash at the moment you click the buttons? Or some time afterward, like when you zone?

Type /browser to open the default browser window, and then enter a URL in the address bar... eq2interface.com for example. Does it load without crashing?

Typing /browser instantly crashes the game.

Hi,

My group window health/power bars are gray/black and are hard to see in dark zones. Is there a way to make them color like before? My main health/power at the top are dark as well

I found a fix. Basically I can't use the red or blue theme, it has to be the original, which is fine. I like them both.

I am updated, but all I have here is a random circle, a list of overseers, and a whole lot of blank.

Is this not yet updated for Profit?

If you downloaded the custom Overseer window from this thread, you'll need to remove it since the game developers made some changes that are incompatible. Look for eq2ui_mainhud_minions.xml in your ProfitUI_CE folder.

I did not download any other overseer window, nor am I seeing that file in the listings for the updater.

It won't be on the updater since it's not modified in ProfitUI_CE, so the game should be using the default Overseer window. I just logged in with my current ProfitUI_CE installation and with a clean install, and the Overseer window looks normal in both cases. Also tried Classic, Storm and Fossil skins. Can you try doing a clean install? (Copy or move your current ProfitUI_CE folder to the desktop first.)

I have validated my EQ2 files, I have removed that file and let it be reloaded, I have changed the 'skins', I have reloaded Profit CE, I have claimed my minions. Nothing of which has worked to fix this:
