Maybe one Day , it will be able to Text monitor the " /# "color text from log files. That would put act back to running parse and reduce a lot of crashing ( mainly due to really bad Trigger construction from others.)

What I would like to suggest is a Support channel where people can share the "External Presets" of the spell monitoring Recorder. We could then just keep sharing updating and reloading it.

Would be nice if it could read the Target window or Text file and auto set the mob encounter. right now I'm having to re-add encounter then clear for recording right before pull.

Bloodstormz, thank you for your comments. I did experiment a while back with the onscreen message window to make the \# color messages more obvious, I'll have to dust that off again.

Could it be possible to make the bottom bar more configurable, e.g. editing single entries within the bars? Up to now I only found the combat stats to be configurable - but I'd also like to change / shuffle content of the other bars....
And: I'd love to have a percentage be shown within the XP bars... and not only points left to next level

I appreciate the compliment Crimee, glad you're enjoying the UI. A fully configurable XP/Stats bar has been something I've wanted to do for quite a while. It's one of those big items on the list of projects to tackle. I'd like to do something with drag-and-drop where you unlock the XP bar, customize the stats and commands to your liking, then lock it again. In the meantime I'll take a look at the percentage displays. Off the top of my head I can't see a reason why it wouldn't be doable as an option. There is already a Guild XP percentage display.

Drumstix: basically the same mechanism here, and for the same reasons. If the player chooses all-horizontal or all-vertical, the self tile will behave as expected. But anything in between will put groupmembers 2 through 6 either below or to the right of the self tile. It would be nice if the default Group window showed self data, but I can understand why it doesn't.

It was the best I could do to give the most flexibility possible to the window.

.
What I did in my group window was check the window size with the OnSize property, and re-align GroupMember1 either below or to the right of GroupMember0 with some simple checks (window height/width). This can limit the possibility of a 2x3 or 3x2 grid, but it allows you have a straight horizontal or vertical layout within one file.

Thank you,

The Group window does not show groupmember 0 (self) by default. Much of the information is pulled together by modders to give a similar appearance to the other group members, even though the data for self is not provided in the same way as members 1 through 6. The default cascading behavior does not expect to find groupmember 0 in the window, and it is hard-coded in a way that is extremely tough for modders to break when adding the extra tile. So in most cases the modder will simply force an all-horizontal or all-vertical layout with no cascading at all.

The DarqUI Live Group window was coded to allow the default cascading behavior while also optionally showing groupmember 0 in the various layouts. The trade-off is that the groupmember 0 tile will be stuck out on the left by itself if you stretch the window horizontally. Re: group window

OK I can use the command line to go a group say and TNAME works just fine. I must of botched something the first time I tried, it was very late.

Re: Re: Channeler's Conduit Bar and Dissonance Status Bar

The graphics file containing the Dissonance window was changed this week. Use the updater app to get the new files. Your modification of the uisettings file did not break anything.

For Conduit Hotbar:
-------------------
<Window Name="Channeler" alignment="7" alignment_offset="5,87" backdrop_mo_o="0" backdrop_n_o="0" frame_mo_o="0" frame_n_o="0" locked="true" size="419,40" visible="true" window_style="1">
<Properties icon_padding="1" icon_size="30" show_graphics="true" version="1" />
</Window>

note: the size I choose matches that of the icons in my other Hotbars.

For Dissonance Status Bar:
--------------------------
<Window Name="Dissonance" alignment="7" alignment_offset="0,51" locked="true" size="280,15" visible="true" />

It works. I hope this may help players to organize their Channeler's specific bars until the updating is fixed.

Regards.
With the above modification to the uisettings.xml file, I was able to resize the Dissonance Bar and the Conduit Bar. However now there appear three new color bars within the Dissonance Bar, a orange bar, a green and a yellow, they seem to be misaligned and extend out to the right hand side of the Dissonance Bar.

I searched the uisettings.xml file trying to find out the settings for these color bars but to no avail.

Hi Darqwood, grateful if you could point me to a solution, thanks.

Regards.

Re: Channeler's Conduit Bar and Dissonance Status Bar

FieryArcher: This solution works well and I'm sure there are Channelers who will make good use of the information. Some notes: you only need to change the icon_size value, not the hotbar size. Because the window frame conforms to whatever the icon size is set to, it will be adjusted automatically the first time you stretch the window in-game. Also, the show_graphics value can optionally be set to false which will hide the ornate grab handle on the right-hand side of the hotbar, if that is preferred.

The DarqUI Live Dissonance bar is already resizable, but your settings file shows you have it locked, so you may not have noticed.

jrhansen: Version 1.000 will have a blank Mercenary tab since it pre-dates the changes from the TOV expansion. Try re-downloading the new version 1.001 from the red Download button at the top of this page. Also, use the updater app (included with the download) to check for updates. Post back here if your Mercenary tab is still empty.

Channeler's Conduit Bar and Dissonance Status Bar

When my new Channeler hits level 15, I have a Conduit Hotbar and a Dissonance Status Bar pop up automatically. However, the size of the two bars are very large and the resizing seems not to be saved.

So I modify the UI spec file "<server name>_<character name>_eq2_uisettings.xml" as follows:-

For Conduit Hotbar:
-------------------
<Window Name="Channeler" alignment="7" alignment_offset="5,87" backdrop_mo_o="0" backdrop_n_o="0" frame_mo_o="0" frame_n_o="0" locked="true" size="419,40" visible="true" window_style="1">
<Properties icon_padding="1" icon_size="30" show_graphics="true" version="1" />
</Window>

note: the size I choose matches that of the icons in my other Hotbars.

For Dissonance Status Bar:
--------------------------
<Window Name="Dissonance" alignment="7" alignment_offset="0,51" locked="true" size="280,15" visible="true" />

It works. I hope this may help players to organize their Channeler's specific bars until the updating is fixed.

Futhermore, it would be great if I could disable the "Darq UI Settings" button on some/most Windows (currently I sometimes click them in the heat of the fight)?

I can't get into the business of supporting other authors' pieces, but you should be able to add the DrumsUI spell timer into DarqUI. Try setting it up completely using the DrumsUI interface, then copy the window and the eq2ui_custom.xml into the DarqUI folder, then copy the configuration file(s) from one POI folder to the other.

The DarqUI Live Prestige Stack Monitor has two slots that monitor maintained spells similar to the other spell timer mods. It shows icons, ward amounts, timers, etc., but not the target of the spell (tooltip will show this). I'll spend some time during the holidays to see if I can get the Stack Monitor more compatible with what you are looking for.

I like your idea of making the blue gem buttons optional since you can get to the window manager from many places in the UI. I'll look at that, but in the meantime you can get rid of the blue gem icon by deleting it from any XML file that contains it. In Notepad, search for Name="WindowManager" and delete the entire icon line.
