I'd reinstalled DargUIv2.1 to see if that will fix it but came up with another porblem. When filling out the group and raid spells I can't raise, lower, or clear them. They're all grayed out.
As for the original problem I get the message "playername could not be found in your group or raid". I can only use them on me. And for the cures I think the tooltips have the right cures. It doesn't have any text when I hover over them except for the arcane (wizard). I use potions so not sure if I am supposed to add anything for that.

Kriin, right-click the "Order" column to rearrange the order of the spells. If you want to use the new /cureplayer commands with your potions and Arcane cure, I have some instructions under the yellow text near the top of this page.
Your error message may be the result of combining UI mods. My code does not use a variable called "playername" but I believe the Drums custom code, and possibly others, use it. Unfortunately there's no way to ensure compatibility when UI pieces from various authors are used together.

I Reinstalled the game and with just the DarqUI. The group/raid spell buttons work now but I still can't use the cures in BG except for the arcane which is a spell. I did what the yellow text told me. Is it necessary to "cureplayer %TS Trauma" in the command field for class cures? I guess I'll test that out.
And another problem The Threat window disappears when in BG. I've tried crl T, F10 and the "always show threat window" is checked in game window option.

If you use the cureplayer code in the Command field, you want to remove the Cure spells in the Spell Name field. Cureplayer intelligently decides whether to use a class-aware spell or a potion, so you don't want anything competing with that.
I don't have any advice about your Threat window disappearing while in Battlegrounds. If it's visible before you switch servers, it should be visible in the same place once you arrive in a Battlegrounds match.

Work with eq2x?
Hey Darq,
Thanks for the UI. Does this work with EQ2 Extended. I can't seem to get the UI to load. It doesn't even show up as a selection when doing /loadui in game.
I have read the previous posts about getting the updater to work in custom directories, but I still can't get it to work.
My EQ2x directory is C:\Games\EQ2 Extended\
Any ideas off the top of your head as to why I can't get the UI to load?

Here are some ideas that might help.
There will be two defaults when you /loadui one of them (top one) will be darqui. Make sure youre running the utility under admin and in settings tab you picked the right location for the ui folder. You might need to create a eq2.ini file if the utility can't find it.

Adding cureplayer command worked. As for the threat window I took that out. I don't use it much anyways. After messing around with the UI's I think that the /loadui might of brought that back, just didn't think about it at the time. Had anther piece of ui that was disappearing until I used that command.

Hi Ansar, I don't have EQ2 Extended so I'm not sure what the differences are for the UI. But it should not be very different from EQ2. Instead of using the loadui pop-up menu, try typing:
/loadui DarqUI
and see if the UI pieces show up. If that works, you know you've got the custom folder in the right place. Then if you want to load DarqUI by default, locate the eq2.ini file in your game directory and make sure the following two lines are there:
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname DarqUI
If you don't have an eq2.ini file, you can create one with Notepad. Follow the F.A.Q. link at the top of this page for instructions.

Your UI seems to be fixing all the problems I have been having every time I look here. Nice.
However, one thing I really miss is clicking on a group name and automatically going into /follow. I multibox, so really depend on this. I dont want to put a command in all my alt's quick strings. Any chance?

Karrani, there's a good chance you'll get your wish. I'm testing several updates to the Group window, including a choice to switch the class icons out for F-key symbols (F1, F2, etc.) The F-keys are clickable and can be configured with targeted commands like the spell buttons, but they are global to all characters and they won't take up a spell button slot. So you could configure F1 for /afk for example, and F2 through F6 for autofollow.

Can u explain please 1 line of the csv file for me i would like to add Demonstration of Faith 1-7 i have the spell ID's and the spell icon file name but don't understand all the columns. Thanks

first of all thanks for your ui. i used to work with profitui and just wanted to download your groupwindow. i play on german server, so i downloaded the german spell-list and checked "international comp ... mode". i copied the groupmembers.xml in my profitui folder and overwrote the existing one. logged in and the selected spells from the utility window worked fine, but the cures doesnt work. with a healer class. also changed on the priest tab the english "cure" to the german "heilkraft" from the list i could select. but i cant get the cures to function.

Thedell, try putting the DarqUI group window into a custom UI folder all by itself without ProfitUI and see how it works. When you have it working like you want, then try copying the group window into ProfitUI.
