Hi joyCrazy, thank you for the compliments! I do have a Guild window with the invite functions in development, but I've been hesitant about maintaining a window as complex as the Guild window just for the sake of that one custom feature.

You have an exceptional number of characters on your computer, and even if I tripled the number of DarqUI character slots it would still not come close to what you are looking for. I wish it was as simple as dropping in another block of code for each extra character, but the way the interface is written, all the custom code is tailored to the specific character count.

Having said that, there may be a solution that will get you most of what you want with just a little extra effort. You could set up multiple DarqUI folders, for example DarqUI_Tom, DarqUI_Susan, DarqUI_Joe, etc., one for each account or person -- whatever makes sense for your household. You would place a separate copy of the utility program in each of the folders to configure the various characters in that folder. Once a player logs into the game, they would type /loadui DarqUI_Tom depending on who is playing.

If you want the DarqUI to load automatically as the default, you could use the "Make Default" button on the settings tab before logging in. This would take just a few seconds and would eliminate needing to type the /loadui command in-game, which I'm sure you know causes UI glitches at times.

Thank You I'll try that . I love this ui.

I started today with using darqui and i like it so far but i have one problem and a question.
1) When i go into the persona window and press the horse or currency symbol no mount or currency is displayed in the window. When i go back to my old window nothing can be seen then too. I have to zone to see the currency or mounts.
Any solution for this little bug?
2) When i open the clock window there is the timer right next to the clock. I can only set the timer to max 41. Is there a reason for this max value?

Hi Knubbel,

1) I have not heard this reported before, so it may be a problem caused by today's SOE patch. If I can reproduce the issue I'll patch the persona window asap. The code for the currency and mount tabs is unchanged from the default.

2) The countdown timer can be set to higher values if you stretch it out more. At full width you can count down several minutes.

Thanks for your answer.

To 1) I did a bit more testing on my side and I seems to have the same problem when i log into darqui and then change to my old ui. So it does not seems to be a problem of darqui itself. Nevertheless when i zone all the currency and mounts are back. And when i log in with darqui then its all ok too. Seems only to happen when i switch the ui. So not a big problem. I simply will set darqui as default

Doesn't work

I want to try your UI. It looks fantastic. However I can't get it to work. Profit, Fetish, and Drums work fine.

When I browse to my UI folder and click make default I get the error messge "The eq2.ini file was not found or could not be created in the specified location. is the game folder named correctly."

What am I doing wrong? I have it installed in a custom directory.

In the utility click the GroupMembers tab, then click the Priest tab. The extra tells can be cleared there.

Thanks for keeping this updated

Poopie_master, can you send me the entire error? If it's too long for this thread you can send it to darqwood at hotmail dot com. Thanks.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Can I get you to download the newest version of the utility and try that -- I notice you're using an older version which has a slightly different way of mapping the character information. Thanks, and sorry you're having trouble with Quick Setup.
