fak so no they didnt fix it.

it was just a glitch U are not able to kill cure them or use quick cast buttons on them since they got 2 names.

I edited the quickbars beside their name in raid, the 1-5 buttons. When I logged back in on all my characters I get spammed with "r12 could not be found in group or raid" about 100 times. Any idea what causes this?

The Stat Bar disappears if you enable the Letterbox Border and the Stat Bar is within the black bar area (top of bottom) of the screen.

The updater keeps giving an error anytime I try to download one of the alternative black color schemes.

I am trying to manipulate this via the old Drums backup folder I have to get the black ui instead of the blue EQ2 default.

The live updater will not me download any color options either.

You mentioned below you might add it to the Additional Options folder on full download. That would be cool.

In the meantime if I get the black back by messing with these files I will post what I did.

This worked: I copied the following files from my back up of DrumsUI :

UI\DrumsUI\Images\commonelements.dds
UI\DrumsUI\Images\specialelements.dds
UI\DrumsUI\Images\window_elements_generic.dds
UI\DrumsUI\Images\window_elements_specific.dds
UI\DrumsUI\Images\windowelements.dds

and pasted them in UI\DrumsUI\images\ in active game directory.

I am not too familiar with this site but if you need these files, you can send me a message with an email address or way I can send the files to you. I will try to check back as often as possible.

Inside UI/DrumsUI/Alternatives/, you can find all the Color zips (as well as all Updater files in the other folders).

For summoners and enchanters they can see their pets casting; however BL warders don't show theirs.

Also in the Character Window, the Modify Specializations button in the Warder tab doesn't work.

Hi,

I am having an issue with an apparent conflict with the UI. I had to disable the UI in order to change the permissions for my Guild Hall Harvest Depot.

Is there any way that this could be fixed?

I have also noticed that there is a drop down box on the crafting interface for "number of items to be made" that only goes to "1" and now I am wondering if that is actually functional, but the UI breaks it.

Make sure you have the latest update, the permissions and "Update" button should all be there.

As for the number of items, I personally don't know if you can actually make more than 1 yet. Might just be something they added, but didn't put to use yet.

I just re-downloaded this but kept a few of my old UI files----However my Stat Bar is showing Crit Mit still, and now there is no button to get rid of it.

Any help?

Each day when I log in for the first time, regardless of what character I log in on, my player window is moved. It keeps creeping upward. I move it each time and it just keeps going back. Not really a big deal, just annoying. Any thoughts as to why this might be happening?

Try opening your character's .XML file in your main EQ2 directory (servername_charname_eq2_uisettings.xml) with notepad and look for the line that starts with:
<Window Name="Player"

Delete that entire line and start the game up. Position your Player window as needed. Camp out and back in and see what happens.

Hi.

New player here and I started off with your user interface. I had a question and a couple of comments.

My question is about the download. I got the UI installed okay and all seems well that I can see. I was wondering about those three layout.xml files you included. Where were those supposed to be placed and were we supposed to be able to choose one of those presets somehow?

I wasn't able to figure that out so I had to just move everything myself in game.

Comments:

1. That long "stats" bar of two rows - I wanted that at the top of my monitor but it seems that if it's at the top then the "menu" button is un-clickable unless I move it down about 1/2 an inch. I ended up putting it at the bottom of my screen.

2. Again with the "stats bar" - that font size is really tiny for my poor eyes and widescreen monitor. Any chance we can increase the font size via in-game ui settings?

3. The chat window "toggle chat shadow/text shadow" doesn't seem to save between sessions. EDIT: This saved after the second time I logged out. I guess it's okay now.

I forgot my other questions/comments so I'll just come back later if I can think of them.

1. Make sure there isn't another window blocking the stat bar, I use mine all the way at the top.

2. Not feasibly because ALL the elements are sized manually.
